Is There Some Difference Between A Pearland Jacuzzi And A Hot Tub Or Spa?

by | Dec 23, 2019 | Swimming Pools

There is a difference between jacuzzis and a hot tub or spa. Just like we call an SUV and a sedan a car, so are aquatic products called a jacuzzi, at least here in America. In Europe, a mineral or hot spring is known as a spa. A hot tub is just that. What are the differences?

Jacuzzi

Jacuzzi is the family name and the brand of one of the first spa makers. The name has become synonomous with spas everywhere, with hotels advertising their “jacuzzi” in their pool area.

The heat of the water helps with circulation and relaxation. The jets gently massage aching muscles. All of it together reduce body weight to ease joints. Click here to see what they look like.

Hot Tub

A hot tub is usually a round or square wooden structure with a bench or two. The hot water is meant to soak and relax the body. A hot tub generally has no jets, water pumps, or motors.

Spas

It’s here that people get air mixed with water coming through jets that almost remove you from your seat. Multiple seats with their own jets are found in spas. It’s also here that people add MP3 music or flat screen TVs for entertainment. You can add color and scent as in Chromotherapy and Aromatherapy. There are jacuzzis in Pearland for every family, backyard, and budget. They also add value to a home as well as relaxation and stress removal. Contact Cryer Pools & Spas Inc. to learn more.
